How To Order

Megatar instruments are hand-built to your specifications.  Below is an interactive price list and order form that spells out all the available options and their costs. Use it to configure your dream instrument.  It won't add up the total cost for you yet, we're still working on that, but the prices are there.  If you don't know what something means, check out the FAQ as it has answers to a lot of questions or contact us.

Megatars all share the same basic specifications, but there are many options and customizations available that will allow you to design a one-of-a-kind instrument according to your own individual style, experience and priorities.

Be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page for more important ordering information.

Shipping:

Shipping is with the most economical method, usually FedEx but sometimes UPS or USPS.  Insured shipping charges for the lower 48 United States are typically in the $40 to $75 range.  International shipping is often $150 up to $300 or more.  Import duties, taxes, customs and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be.  Instruments are preferably shipped in a case of some sort.  Otherwise instruments are securely wrapped and double boxed.  Only one instrument has ever been somewhat damaged in transit (on its way to Italy) out of the last couple hundred shipped.  Please immediately document and report the receipt of damaged goods.

Warranty:

Megatar warrants all instruments to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the instrument. Damage due to misuse, abuse, carelessness, accidents, normal wear and tear, extremes of temperature and humidity, lack of maintenance, etc., are not covered.  The Megatar is designed to be durable and field serviceable by any qualified guitar technician.   In the event that your instrument requires factory service, modification or upgrades, please contact Megatar for instructions before shipping.  Properly packaged and insured shipping of the instrument to the Megatar shop is the customers responsibility.  Free or discounted return shipping is available.
